Discover Riverside Pubs, Country Inns and Local Restaurants
We’ve always enjoyed visiting Wareham for a bite to eat because it genuinely offers something for everyone. You’ll find Italian restaurants, riverside pubs, rustic inns, and even simple fish and chips you can take down to the river and enjoy by the quay.
The Quay is one of our favourite places to eat. You have a variety of options here: a rustic pub, a gastro pub right on the river, and cafés where you can enjoy a coffee, a snack, or an ice cream while sitting outside and watching kayakers and boats moor at the quayside. Wareham’s Saturday market is also worth visiting. You can wander among the stalls, sample local produce, and pick up fresh ingredients to create a Dorset-inspired dish.
