Description

This luxury and extremely spacious Dorset holiday home is situated on the water’s edge and offers stunning views and direct access into the freshwater lake from a private jetty. Reflections is situated within the exclusive Silverlake nature reserve estate, in easy reach of the Jurassic Coast and its many beaches and attractions. Ideal for large family gatherings, Reflections sleeps 11 in 5 spacious bedrooms and guests can enjoy use of the communal heated outdoor pool on site.

Imagine waking up in the ground floor master king-size bedroom of this property and experiencing uninterrupted views over the water to the heathland beyond, before enjoying the benefits of a luxury en-suite bathroom with both bath and walk in shower.
A bunk bedroom with a triple sleeper bed and a double bedroom are also situated on the ground floor together with a separate family shower room and a useful utility with a combined washer/dryer.

The ultra contemporary open-plan kitchen/dining/living room is accommodated on the first floor together with a separate snug/TV room and a cloakroom. The living room has plenty of relaxed seating, a TV and a log fire for those chillier evenings while the snug has a separate TV and plenty of board games for family fun. The living and dining areas have direct access through a wall of sliding doors to a balcony with a spiral staircase to the decking and garden below. Views from the dining and living areas over the water are fabulous at any time of year and the sunsets can be spectacular.

On the second floor are two further spacious bedrooms, a twin and a king bedroom, both of which benefit from built in wardrobes and dressing tables. A large shower room services these bedrooms and completing the top floor is a unique mezzanine room overlooking the dining area that offers views over the lake from the huge apex windows and is ideal as a ‘chill out space’ or a study area.

Outside, Reflections has a large balcony, accessed from the living area, which includes lounge chairs and a side table. A spiral staircase leads to the ground floor deck with lounge seating which can also be accessed from the master bedroom. The garden beyond leads to the private jetty for direct access to the water for swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking. Paddleboards and kayaks can be hired from the Silverlake Activity Hub on site. A charcoal BBQ is provided for guest use and there is a Tesla EV charger also available free of charge.

A cot and highchair are available for guest use. Please advise at time of booking if you require these to be made available. Please note that a cot mattress is not supplied, nor any cot bedding.

Bike hire (delivered to your holiday home and collected after the hire period), private chef, E-bike tours and yacht trips from Weymouth Harbour can be arranged by Curated Cottages to make your holiday even more memorable. We can also arrange for logs and kindling to be supplied for your stay so that you can enjoy a cosy log fire on cooler evenings. Please get in touch if you have any specific requirements you would like us to try to arrange.

Guests of Reflections can enjoy access to the communal outdoor heated pool, spa and sauna. Also available on site is a tennis court, multi-use activity court, nature trails, cycle trails, fishing and outdoor table tennis tables. There is a sand beach at Beaumont Lake with freshwater swimming and a pontoon on the lake.
Although there is plenty to keep guests occupied at Silverlake, the area around is worth exploring. Consider visiting the historic city of Dorchester famous for Thomas Hardy's birthplace, hiking the South West coast path, visiting Portland Bill lighthouse or enjoying hunting for fossils in some of the Jurassic Coast coves. There are many beaches within a few miles of Reflections including the safe and shallow Weymouth beach, the natural pebble beach at Ringstead Bay, the dramatic scenery of Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, or the expansive Chesil beach near Portland.

For larger groups, Reflections and Swan Landing are situated next door to one another and can be booked together to accommodate large groups of up to 20 guests.
