Description

Cosy Cottage, near the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, is exactly as its name suggests; a wonderful pet-friendly holiday home that offers a warm and welcoming interior and an enclosed garden that is ideal for families with young children and guests with dogs. Situated on the Silverlake Estate nature reserve, Cosy Cottage sleeps up to 6 guests in three double bedrooms and offers guests free access to an on-site outdoor heated pool, a gym, a spa, walks, cycling routes and swimming in freshwater lakes.

Step inside Cosy Cottage and you’ll immediately feel at home. The open plan ground floor features a living area with plenty of comfortable seating, a Smart TV, bioethanol fire for cosy nights in and direct access through large sliding doors to an outdoor deck and a fenced garden that backs onto a stream.
The dining area includes a table that seats six and there is additional seating at the kitchen island. The kitchen itself offers everything you need for preparing meals, whether a gourmet feast or family picnics, and includes an induction hob, combination microwave/oven, main oven and dishwasher. Also on the ground floor is a useful utility/cloakroom with WC and combined washer/dryer.

Upstairs there is a master suite with super-king size bed, fitted wardrobe and an en-suite shower room. The master bedroom also has access to a balcony with views over the lakes. There are two further double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes; one of the bedrooms also has access to the balcony. Completing the first floor is a luxury family bathroom with shower over bath and underfloor heating.

Outside there is a deck with furniture for alfresco dining or for simply relaxing. There is a grassed area beyond the deck and a driveway to the side of the property that provides parking for two cars. A charcoal BBQ is available for guests’ use.
Access to the lakes is via a communal jetty which is a few yards from the property. Here guests can enter the water for swimming or water-sports activities including paddle-boarding or kayaking.
Also on site are plenty of walking trails, cycling trails, a dedicated dog walking and swimming area called Pooch’s Place and a beach at the Beaumont Village lake.
