Description

Woodsford is the perfect Dorset holiday home for up to eight guests. Situated within the prestigious Silverlake Estate near the Jurassic Coast, it is positioned on the waterfront, is beautifully interior-designed and has a private jetty for lake access. It also boasts a fabulous roof terrace complete with putting green.

On the ground floor is a light and airy open plan kitchen, dining and living area with a wall of sliding glazed doors that offer stunning views over the garden and lake beyond. The living area comprises comfortable seating for eight guests, a flat screen TV and a wood burning stove to cosy up to on cooler evenings. The luxury kitchen with stone worktops includes everything you might need for group catering including a full height fridge, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, full size oven and a coffee machine. The dining table comfortably seats eight and there is also a breakfast bar with additional seating for four.

From the living area, sliding patio doors lead to an expansive enclosed deck with child-safe glass balustrade, outdoor dining furniture, lounge furniture and a charcoal BBQ. A gate from the deck leads to the garden and the water’s edge. A private jetty allows for direct access to the lake for swimming or water-sports.

Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom and a shower room with walk in shower, which is ideal for groups where a member of the party might have increased accessibility needs. Both the bedroom and shower room have been designed to maximise accessibility . Completing the ground floor is a large utility room with sink, washing machine, wall mounted clothes horse and an under counter freezer.

On the first floor is the master king size bedroom with en-suite shower room and balcony with seating. There is a further king size bedroom, a bunk bedroom with sofa and TV and a family bathroom with over bath shower - both of which open onto a decking with seating overlooking the lake.
From the first floor stairs lead to the fabulous roof terrace that offers unrivalled panoramic views of the Silverlake lakes and nature reserve. The terrace has outdoor lounge furniture for those who wish to chill with a book and a glass of wine, and a putting green for those who need a sporting challenge!

Guests staying at Woodsford not only enjoy a beautiful property, large enclosed child-safe deck, garden and direct lake access. They also have access to the Silverlake Estate facilities including an outdoor heated pool, spa, sauna, tennis court, table tennis, cycle trails, walking trails, lake beach and Firefly restaurant.
